About Us
Dutchess Foods was developed in 2018 when a Dutch and Irish family joined forces.
Here at Dutchess Foods, we are excited to be bringing fresh, new ideas to the Irish food market.
We have been a part of many successful markets, including Bloom in the Park, Tullamore Show and Flavours of Fingal.
All of our ingredients are imported from the Netherlands, so you know you're getting an authentic experience and tasting genuine Dutch flavours when you order with us.
A bit of History
Dutchess Foods was formed in late 2018 following a trip to the Netherlands. This is where we saw poffertjes and stroopwafels being made for the first time.
Our first attempt at making poffertjes was in Mondello Park in May 2019. Since then, we've taken part in many food and music festivals and had permanent spots in several popular farmers' markets.
With the closure of markets and the cancellation of events due to the Covid-19 pamdemic, we decided to continue to serve our customers via delivery and collection services from our little kitchen in Cabra. This has been a huge success. We have also worked extremely hard over the past few years to improve and expand our business. Our delicious stroopwafels will soon be available to order straight to your door and to purchase from local cafés. Make sure to follow us on social media to stay in the loop.
